What does a studio actually look like from the inside and how is a work of art created? How do children perceive art and what can artists learn from them about their own works?

The FRÖBEL studio in Essen-Borbeck promoted exchange between the art world and early education.

In the end of 2022 FRÖBEL awarded Locu with a Studio-Scholarship. From 2023 till 2024 Locu could use the studio as a space for artistic expression meanwhile the children from the FRÖBEL kindergarten where able to visit the atelier once a week. Together they become artistically active, go on excursions and take part in activities and festivals in the neighborhood.
